I am going to alton towers tomorrow, and you have to que loads apparently, so if i don't have much time on rides because of queuing what rides should i aim to go on?|||Oblivion, Air, Nemisis are the three big ones you really should aim to go on, they're immense.
Also, I would totally recommend the runaway mine train and the congo river rapids, they're really fun too.
Have fun I'm sooo jealous!!! :D|||I am a teenager (14) with an annual pass. I go EVERY weekend.

I would say my favourite ride would be Air as it is a ride of it's own. You experience the beauty of flying and the thrill of a roller-coaster. I recommend the front row on a ride like this to experience the full adrenaline rush.

Also, I think that Ripsaw is awesome. I personally love the feeling of it's ability to toss you and throw you in so many, ways in so little time. If you don't want you hair/face to get wet, i recommend to miss this ride as you get a fountain spraying water in your face as you stare at it helplessly.

If your looking for a full roller-coaster experience, Nemesis is the rid for you. It is a suspended coaster meaning you dangle from the track. You go upside down about 3-5 times within about 30-45 seconds.

Rita is a ride of speed. It jets you off leaving your screams behind. Here's som tips for Rita...Keep your head back before it starts and DON'T bring it forwards...If you put your arms up, make sure you tense...and lastly don't go on with three people as one will be left out :(!

Oblivion is nothing to shout about unless you hate heights...good ride though if it's your first time. When your forced to look down before you drop hold your breath because you can't breath on the was down due to G force and the sprays of water.

Spinball Whizzer. I love this ride as it always changes. It's a great ride to start a day at Alton Towers! Again try not to go on if your in a three as someone is on their own :( The queue normally goes down fast as it's a quick process of getting on and off the ride.

If the Scarefest mazes are open i recommend you go in them as they are insane! The terror of the towers is free and is the "scariest" according to Alton Towers, i however find "The field of 1000 screams" and "The boiler room" scarier as they have better actors and much more of the "Boo" factor. The two scarier mazes (field of 1000 screams and boiler room) come at a small cost but it's worth it!

Best ride order:
1.Air
2.Nemesis
3.Oblivion
4.Terror of the Towers (maze not a ride, only at scarefest)
5.Spinball Whizzer/Ripsaw.

The order i would go on them:
1st Spinball Whizzer
2nd Oblivion
3rd Nemesis
4th Air
5th Terror of the Towers
6th Ripsaw

If you by any chance have a disability/disabled badge, you should go t guest services (on the right as you walk in) and get registered for a disabled wrist band which gets you onto all the rides through the exit. Apart from the maze where you go through the fast-track entrance. I'm guessing your going on the 1st November so the mazes should be open! The mazes are definetly worth the wait no matter what the queue length is!

Hope this helps and hope you have a great day!!!

Uncle Blob|||Oblivion is the best thrill ride(x-sector). air(forbidden valley) is the most unique ride and nemesis(forbidden valley) is just a must ride those are the best rides but do not overlook ripsaw(forbidden valley) or rita queen of speed(ug land)
