Hello,
Could you please tell me why te is before the reflextive verb and attached to the end in the following sentence? Thanks!
Mira que ya te olvidaste de ese amiguito. Look how you already forgot about that little friend.|||They are not connected. The verb is "olvidarse" and it just so happens that in the second person singular of the simple past tense there is a -te ending. So the first "te" is to show that it's a reflexive verb and the second is to show that it's the past tense.|||You need all those pronouns (me, te, se, nos, os) in reflexive verbs. There's no second te at the end of the sentence, it's the t煤 form of the preterit, and it is the same in every verb. e. i. dijiste, olvidaste, so帽aste, caminaste, hablaste, etc.|||te always goes before the reflexive verb and there is no te to the end
