I have been working there a few months now and find that once it gets busy i stress out. I become to slow at getting the drinks up and a que develops. Can anyone give me advice on how to keep giving the customer my time but also getting other things done quickly? Or any advice to working at these sort of places|||TIME YOURSELF~|||Try and remember a few orders at a time. I presume you are the one that gets the drinks, so when you see say 3 orders on the screen, remember all the drinks and do them together. When one is pouring, put down another one, and so on. Just don't panic because this is not productive. You have to stay calm when working in a fast food restaurant. You'll be fine, just keep at it and soon it will come naturally. Good luck! :)|||you have to have a routine, if the drink is going to take you the longest to do then do this first. followed by your burger or the main meal then the fries or whatever you know.

also knowing your menu in and out will definately help you process your orders faster.

you only really need to give the customer your full attention when you are taking the order, if the order is going to be late, and when you deliver the order.|||Just think to yourself 'it's only fast food' nothing special. When you bet stressed, just stop and think what you have to do next, always ask for help and communicate with your manager/boss. Always look at the orders in advance and work out what takes longest and make sure you get them going as soon as you can. Just take your time and have fun :)|||Don't take on more than three orders at a time, the customers after will have to wait longer if you get mixed up, so sometimes it's best to just tell someone 'I'll be with you in just a moment' they know you have things to get together, the more you take on the more likely it is you will feel overwhelmed

It will get easier, you'll be a pro in no time :)|||When you see it is starting to get busy, pour a few extra drinks ready to go.|||Pour a lot of poppular drinks in advance|||take an energy shot|||You ask someone who has been there longer
