What I mean is like endings like The Dark Knight where everything cuts to black and then very intense music is qued at the start of end credits.

I'm actually looking for music for an independent film and I needed some ideas for a song that starts out extremely intense and very sudden but nothing screamo.

I need a something where I can create an intense build at the end and then cut to black and then que that song.

I know it's confusing, I just don't know where to look anymore.|||Depends on whether you want contemporary instrumental music, classical or just a song.

- The Matrix movies all end with hard-hitting rap/metal music (the original one ends with Rage Against the Machine's "Wake Up" followed by Marylin Manson's "Rock is Dead".

-The Bourne Identity cues out to a fantastic piece of techno music called "Extreme Ways" by none other than Moby.

(or here, inserted in the ending to The Matrix http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7PI5Hne9鈥?/a>

-"Full Metal Jacket" has one of my favorite fade-out sequence thanks to the Stones' "Paint it Black".

-I always found the Vangelis score to close out "Blade Runner" pretty trippy.

-I'm including this last because a)it's from one of my favorite films and b) that song always makes me smile.

Batman Begins had a good ending too.
