I really don't get the differences in them and when you use each so plz help. I have a quiz tomorrow.
=] thanks.|||驴Qu茅? means "what."
驴Cu谩l? can mean "which" or "what."

If you're asking for a definition, use qu茅. If you're looking for information, use cu谩l.

驴Qu茅 es el di谩metro?
Es una medida del medio de un c铆rculo.
驴Cu谩l es el di谩metro?
Quince cent铆metros.

驴Qu茅 es la fecha de hoy?
Es el n煤mero del d铆a en el calendario.
驴Cu谩l es la fecha de hoy?
Es el veintiocho de enero.|||As interrogatives "Qu茅" means "What" while "Cu谩l" means "Which." While cual is also an adjective, and qu茅 is not, we spanish-speakers incorrectly say things like:
"Qu茅 libro quieres?" while it should be "Cual."
Kinda like in English:
"What book do you want?" while it should be "Which."|||Cual means which.
Que means what.
But cual is used to ask "what is the date?" 'cual es la fecha?' and any other answer that requires a specific answer usually a number, or a name. 'cual es tu nombre' (or como te llamas)
