I have had some really good juicy turkey burgers at restaurants. The frozen ones are a bit "Blah". Does anyone have some ideas for seasoning the meat and making the patties? I am wanting to cook them on the bar-b-que.|||Actually Delicious Turkey Burgers
3 pounds ground turkey
1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs
1/4 cup finely diced onion (used food processor)
1/2 cup finely chopped red bell pepper (used food processor)
2 egg whites, lightly beaten
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 clove garlic, peeled and minced
1 teaspoon seasoning salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
Worcestershire sauce
splash of soy sauce

Optional: Can add slight coating of flour and Montreal Steak Seasoning (McCormick) to the formed patties before grilling.

In a large bowl, mix ground turkey, seasoned bread crumbs, onion, egg whites, parsley, garlic, salt, and pepper. Form into 12 patties.

Cook the patties in a medium skillet over medium heat, turning once, to an internal temperature of 180 degrees F (85 degrees C).

They freeze very well. The recipe can also be used for meatballs or meat loaves.

1 1/4 pounds ground turkey
4 (1/2-inch) cubes of Brie cheese
Olive oil, for brushing the turkey burgers
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 large Granny Smith apple, cored and sliced 1/2-inch crosswise
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 loaf French or Italian bread, cut crosswise into quarters

While the burgers are cooking, brush the apples on both sides with vegetable oil and grill until golden, about 2 minutes on each side.

Split the bread and toast on the grill, cut side down, until golden. Place a burger on the bottom of each quarter. Top with 1 or 2 apple slices, several sprigs of arugula, and the remaining bread. Arrange the burgers on a platter.|||Turkey needs alot more seasoning than beef. The easiest thing is to just add a package of dry onion soup mix to a lb. of turkey, with some dry bread crumbs & an egg. Form into patties. You can put some Lawry's marinade on them (I like Baja Chipolte, Mesquite or Hickory) and then grill them.....|||Burgers:

Make a pattie, but do not handle the meat too much, or you will make them tough. Make sure your grill is oiled well or they will stick. Cook, but don't overcook them.....enjoy!|||Try this one if you like a fatty flavor but still not as caloric as beef.
