Oven Barbecued Chicken
Oil for deep-fat frying
3 to 4 pounds chicken pieces
1/3 cup chopped onion
3 tablespoons butter
3/4 cup ketchup
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup vinegar
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Heat a small amount of oil in a large skillet; fry chicken until browned. Drain; place chicken in a 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in baking dish.
In a saucepan, saute butter in onion until tender; stir in remaining ingredients. Simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Pour over chicken. Bake at 350掳 about 1 hour or until chicken is done, basting occasionally. Yield: 6-8 servings.

2 to 2 1/2 lbsMeaty chicken pieces (breasts, thighs, drumsticks)
1Or less bottles BBQ sauce
Preparation
Chicken. Rinse and pat dry. Arange chicken pieces, meaty side down, in a baking pan. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes. Drain off fat. Turn chicken. Brush sauce over chicken. Bake for 20-30 minutes more until chicken tender and no longer pink. Serve chicken w/ more bbq sauce on the side.|||Place the raw chicken in a baking pan............bake at 350 for about a hour. add garlic and onions
toss everything together
cover with foil and cook for 45 minutes at 350 degrees
cook uncovered for the last 15 minutes at 450 degrees|||Mix together 1 1/2 cups of any type of bottled barbecue sauce (or an 18 oz. bottle) and 1 cup of orange juice. Place 3 lbs of chicken thighs in a 9x13 pan and pour the sauce mix over it. Cover with foil and bake in a 325 degree oven for about 2 hours. When the meat is done, take the foil off and bake for another 30 minutes in a 375 degree oven. The sauce will thicken and will nicely glaze the chicken. It's a piece of cake and it's delicious.|||well, i just take chicken, thawed, put it in a baking dish, and put barbque sauce on it. place foil over the top and let it cook. 375 degrees for 30 min. take the foil off, put some more bbq sauce on and bake for 10 min with no foil.

always comes out good for me and every one eats it gone!|||Buy a tiny grill that fits in the oven|||smother chicken with bbq sauce and bake at 300 degrees for a hour|||I soak chicken in the BBQ sauce in a bowl overnight, covered in fridge. By the way, get creative with your bbque sauce. I like to add some orange juice, a little soy sauce and brown sugar. DELICIOUS!!!!|||Pour lots of sauce into a glass dish, put the chicken in, and treat it like a marinade. So juicy and soft. Mmmmmmm.|||wash and season the chicken how ever you like it/usually do

put it in a roasting pan. Poor your fav. bbq sauce all over the chicken and bake it at 375 until completely done

for a little char you can let it sit under the brolier for 3 minutes after cooking

make your sure you wash your hands plenty with warm soapy wwater when dealing with raw chicken!
