How do you put them into sentences?|||Que means "what", (Que veux-tu? What do you want?)
it can also mean "that". (Je sais que la langue francaise est difficile. I know that the french language is difficult.)

"Qu'est-ce que" is a common way of forming a question using what. So if I want to ask what someone wants in French, I can either say Que veux-tu? (What do you want?) or Qu'est-ce que tu veux? (What is it that you want?) Students often find it easier to use qu'est-ce que because you don't need to switch the subject and verb.

Quel means "which". (Quel train arr锚t-ici? Which train stops here?)|||Que means what que veux-tu? what do you want?

Qu'est-ce que means also what and is usually used to start a question, it is a colloquial form
Qu'est-ce que tu veux ?

Quel is 'what' , the relative pronoun used with a masculine noun
Quel livre est-ce? what book is it?

you have the other forms 'quelle' (for feminin noun)
quels and quelles (used plurally)
